New drawings for the house style I'm working on of a tapas bar. These are just sketches live traced in illustrator, still missing colour, but I quite like how they look.

OUTOMATIC Street Art Festival - Leuven

I did the graphic design for this festival. We had these posters printed on fluorescent orange paper! They only managed to stay up for 24 hours. It seems that there is a monopoly for poster placement in Leuven, so placing these posters was, it seems, very wrong.

The organizer of the event invited us to paint the wall that the M Museum Leuven made available for visitors.
He made this impressive painting of a lady who loves to be painted.

Anna turned a lady into a scuba diver and i did the little creature that was "breathing it all in" with very big nostrils.

Here you can see two of the interventions done by artists Smates (face on the left wall with a ladder) and Momo and Eltono (colourful rooftop on the right).

My favourite intervention. Eltono and Momo placed over 40 flags all along this street. Each one of them different, beautiful and hand painted.

We visited this amazing, abandoned 12-story high brewery.

Looking all the way down from the 12th floor through this hole was scary. Very scary.

I had been waiting for one of Floyd's character traits to come out. And so, it turns out he likes making people laugh. And he's very good at it!

Festes de Gràcia.

We spent our last day of the holiday in Barcelona, which coincided with the street celebrations in the neighbourhood of Gràcia (Festes de Gràcia). All streets are decorated by the neighbours with a theme they chose. For lots of the streets recycled materials are used, which gives everything a certain home-made looking charm. In the first three photos you can see my favourite street decoration, which was done with plastic bottles. I used the double exposure to give everything a bit of a dreamy feel, you know, like, far out, man. We were lost amongst the plastic flowers...

We also enjoyed listening to a jazz band that made people dance!

And Barça won against Real Madrid! 3-2!

So! This is the last post about the summer holidays. It was a proper cliché holiday (in the good sense). I feel I'm ready to get back to work. Thank you, Phil for your company, it couldn't get better.
