Pintxos!

Courgette filled with mushrooms and creamy holandaise sauce.
Tritortilla: spinach, bacon and potato tortilla with cherry tomatitos.
My favourite one of the night: brown bread, roast beef, goats cheese, home made caramelized onions and a wallnut.
This was the one I made: crusty bread, Guacamole, sprinkled chopped spring onion, fried shrimps in garlic and parsley and a cherry tomatito.

We had a pintxo contest, each host had to make pintxos for everyone, we went to 8 different houses. The SUPERCROQUETA was the winner. I couldn't take a photo of that one because everybody grabbed them too fast!

Helen's glow.

Helen and Dill came to Amsterdam, I saw them for a few hours. The light in this bar made Helen look a bit like a glowing star.

Treats from New York.

My friends Erola and Guille sent me all these treats from New York, where they're living right now, in exchange for the booklet I sent them. Now I'll learn how to make origami giraffes, yay! And you can too if you click on the image!

Bringing it back to life.

Esther Derkx had the excellent idea of screenprinting on found crockery, I love it! Mar was given this as a goodbye present but couldn't take it back with her to Barcelona, so I got it instead. Lucky me! I love the detail of the foot going into the cup.
