SpY in action.

Taken with his Canon 500. So jealous.

Weekend with SpY and Lie.

Spanish urban artist SpY asked me to give him a hand for a new project he was asked to do in Breda for KOP. His English has improved but he still needs a little hand for full communication. And an extra hand for filming and passing him material while working is also handy. The first images are of their amazing space in what used to be a factory of some sort, I think .

"Make Your Mark On the World" poster couldn't't be more appropriate for SpY.

On Saturday we went to Leuven for another project that will be happening at the end of July. Hopefully I can help out there too. The images of the giant bug killed by a needle (by Jan Fabre) and the ones that follow were taken there. The last panoramics are of the spectacular terrace of the M Museum Leuven, where part of the event will take place.

(I'm not going to write many more photo captions as blogger gets very confused with my image-size hacking and puts the captions in the wrong place and it's very tedious work to put them in the right place. Hope you don't mind the inconvenience of having the images described above.)

Even though lots of bits of these videos are a bit subjective, I agree with the general view of this video.

The situation in Spain.

It is very sad and frustrating to see how many people are being affected by how the country has been run for the past few years. It is all types of ages and people that are suffering from it and all that is left to do now is show their anger by going out on the streets and demonstrating. The top causes are mass unemployment, austerity measures and political corruption. 43% of young people don't have jobs, and lots of others have to accepts terrible job conditions to get some income.

The demonstrations are peaceful and all sorts of people join. The police brutally tried to get them out of Plaza Catalunya on Saturday, but hours after everyone was back in place. Let's hope they will be heard.
