Jump!

These boys saw me recording and decided to give me quite a show.
I wish I wasn't so afraid of heights...

Where beauty surpasses the amount of tourists.

Calella de Palafrugell has given us a wonderful summer holiday one more time. I spent a few summers there as a child, and last year my parents came up with the idea to gather us all up there again. So this year in Calella felt a bit like a family tradition. This place is beautiful, it offers great hikes to paradise-like beaches, great, reasonably priced food and a nice, Catalan atmosphere.

Hope you enjoy the megapost!

There, it's fixed.

Stylish Floyd.

BUBBLES!

Plant adapting to its surroundings.

An angel in disguise.

Calella center.

Face!

Summery house.

Lavender all over the place.

Summer clothes.

I want!

Street light designed for a junction of streets.

Sista powa.

Floyd is in his imitation phase. Or maybe it's the other way around.

On our way to Figueres we saw the following:

Landscape of L'Empordà.

Plants with thirst to quench.

Fashion watermelon.

The girl looks a bit disappointed at the results.

Dalí museum façade having a bit of a face lift.

Meth addicted mannequin.

My mum genuinely smiles!

Hola, señor!
Café Royal in Figueres seemed to be a a time capsule.

Dat arse.

A photo of feet always has to be in there somewhere.

I'm a fan of the "Menú del dia". This is a weekly mid-day offer that restaurants do in Spain. You can get a three course meal, drinks and coffee or desert for a very reasonable price (around 9 or 10 euros). I might start a campaign to bring in to the NL.

Raining Car at the Dalí Museum.

Arse hole by Dalí.

Dalí also designed furniture. Phil was impressed.

Inception painting. Painting inside a painting inside a painting.

Mae West room.

Dalí souvenirs with orgasmic Magnum girl in the background.

A village called Ultramort, which would translate to Ultradead. Zombies must live there.

After walking for a couple of hours in extreme heat and sun, we reached paradise! That bottle of water in my hand had been empty for the last hour we were walking. And once we got to this tiny beach, a man appeared offering cool drinks. It was like a mirage.
Our little chunk of paradise for the afternoon.
I guess I like taking photos of overweight men with small dogs.

Neck on fire. Photo by Phil.
Men in Palafrugell.

Windy mountain top.

Snapping all over the place with my new camera.
The bunch of us.

More photos to come!
